Can you spot it?...

The word LOVE is tucked away in the adorable face of our new furry friend—just like how love can sometimes be quietly nestled beneath the cool exterior of our too-cool-for-humans companions.

For this week's print we've really stepped out of our comfort zone to try something super bold and typographic, stripping back as much as we could bare. We went on a real journey, which seems a funny thing to say when we've ended up with such a seemingly simple print, but this one was a real adventure for us. On first look it may not appear like a typographic print but this week really took us on a journey....

It felt like a real graphic design-led week as opposed to an illustrative approach as we spent a long (long) time researching new-to-us fonts and gave ourselves a very problem-solving end goal. We had a specific style in our head that we were looking for so we sifted through lots of bold sans-serif super chunky and super fun fonts. Once we decided on a few favourites we played with layout for a while before completely changing direction and hacking the font to bits in our usual way, to a point where it became abstract, minimal shapes and no longer the font we began with at all, to create our super cute new pal!
